Affiliate Programs and Click Throughs
Here we go again the push for click throughs and affliate programs like they are some new breed to gain income or fast cash, cha-ching($$$). The new tools today are like going from the old vinyl record to the MP3 CD. Yes a little better but, just a bunch of tweeks, bells and whistles with glitter added. I say this because mose affiliate programs compete with one and the other. I am the copyrighted owner of a web based “MALL” known as Websters Quick-Click Mall. When affiliate programs were new and big items. I had 350 stores in my virtual click Mall. That is until Macy’s did not like that Target had items cheaper though the same like beauty products and told me out right they were ending there program with me, just one of thousands of examples because I carried over 40,000 products no joking. For every store I had a competitors store in the same Mall just as you would at a real walk-in Mall, they the stores would drop out or threaten too end there banners with my Mall. The idea came to me that I was definetly getting clicks and not getting paid hit me just as fast as my counters showed me with tracking of my own through "Bravenet". At this point it was the “Trust” broken by the affiliate groups like Link Exchange, Commission Junction, Nexchange, Art Today, and Link Share through being dishonest and not paying out for the hits that accrued on banners and products. Then came the “Big Dot Com” bubble bust. Nearly everyone who had a start up Dot Com went out of business. Lots of Malls closed or were without affiliates so they had no business market. Today Google pushes adsense, or adwords. Yahoo is what my own Mall used to be So why trust a new tooled program that will only be of old greed and dishonesty? The only people who are dishonest will win like Amazon, Google and Yahoo. How do you really think they got where they are today? You be the judge. I have my stats, data and proof of what it was for me, even my original hard-drive from my server which is now a days too small for what I do. I'm sure that others like me in the Mall business saw the same. Let us not forget in order for Affiliate Programming to work the sponsor who attracts the little banner guys like you and me has already been paid a one year or month by month ad fee to push the products of the companies they ad campaign, thats right just like politics they have there hands in each others back pockets and we who got them where they are today got the big stiffy up the kazoo.
